Lemnos Philema cooking for the elderly home of Lemnos
Lemnos Philema offered a meal to the elderly home of Lemnos with products from the island.
Producers and restauranters of Lemnos Philema came together to prepare a meal cooked by Maria Kaligeri (Taverna Kalouditsa and Yiannis Triantafyllou (Taverna Man-tella) on Thursday, March 18. The menu included local dishes like flomari (pasta) with octapus, afkos (fava) with kavourma (cured meat), cheesebread with kalathaki and for desert creams from the local cheese factories.
We would like to thank Maria, Yiannis and Antheia Kotsi for the coordination as well as the following companies that offered their products for the cooking and even more for donations. We would like to thank all the tenants of the elderly home, the president Mr. Vaios Kaligeris and all the administration. We hope everyone enjoyed their meal!

Lemnos' gastronomy reaches Australia!
The gastronomy of Lemnos travels to Australia through the cooking of Maria Kaligeri (Taverna Kalouditsa) and Yiannis Triandafyllou (Taverna Man-Tella)! The two chefs cooked 2 recipes with local products for The Hellenic Odyssey for its collab with Lemnos Philema.
Maria and Yiannis prepared traditional katimeria and a salad with aspromutika beans and smocked mackerel using many products from local producers!

Some of Greece's best chefs came together to support our island and our gastronomy!
Dimitris Dimitriadis, Angelos Lados, Michael Marthaw, Kyriakos Melas, Nikos Billis, Manolis Papoutsakis, Alexandros Tsiotinis and Alexandros Charalabopoulos all created unique dishes with products from our producers!
